#16 Stay Informed

I've chosen to subscribe to Education.au as a way of staying in tune with education issues. It still means that there is a lot of reading to do but is a tad more focused. Once reports are over and done, I'll read more, subscribe more (?) and be even more informed.

#22/23 ebooks & Audiobooks

I can certainly see a place for ebooks and audiobooks. Personally, in most instances, I would miss the tactile nature of the original 'beast'. The benefits in the classroom would be the greater readily available variety and access of 'texts' as well as a format with which many students would prefer - on a screen! I actually found myself drawn to the idea of proofreading ebooks or even reading for the audiobooks.

http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/inbox/?ref=mbI already have a Facebook page and have been very nervous about using it much. With the protocols and information in this tut, I'm more confident that I can make it more secure. I'm pretty sure that I would use it more regularly if I trusted it more.
